Nevertheless something better WILL come along. I suppose the only thing you've got to remember is that you can't always actively seek it out, much as you want to. The best things always happen when you're least expecting them to... not that you're an active seeker-outer or complainer when things don't work out, because you aren't, but sometimes, staying open is the only way to get through it.
(I'm not sure I understand anything I just wrote but if you do then that's pretty good because it's an attempt at saying something helpful. My words tend to get somewhat garbled, haha.)
